Gilmartin
The Gilmartin Project was a true design-build endeavor, giving us complete creative freedom to push the boundaries of metalwork and material integration. The only request from the owner? A distinctive finish—one that evolves over time, adding depth and character to the space.
Interior-lit, stone-filled overhead channels conceal structural beams while casting dramatic shadows throughout the home. Gabion pony walls provide subtle separation between rooms, adding a textured, organic feel. Quarter-inch steel plate door jambs seamlessly integrate with multiple pivot doors, creating a refined yet industrial aesthetic.

Outside, steel elements wrap structural posts and beams, offering both function and a striking visual statement. Every detail, from the materials to the finishes, was carefully chosen to anchor the home to its natural surroundings, blending architecture and landscape in perfect harmony.
